Epoxy hexane
Its molecular formular is C3H6O. It is also called propylene oxide. It is colorless,flammable, explosive, toxic liquid with the odor of aether. It can be used as solvents in the synthesisi of cellulose nitrate, chloroethylene, vinyl acetate. Owing to its acitve chemical action, expoxy hexane can be used in producing polyether, propylene glycol, surface active agent, foaming agent, emulsion breaker and reagent for beneficiation etc..
