Epoxy Resin Division of Baling Petrochemical Co.,Ltd. of Sinopec Petrochemical Group Co.,Ltd. (original Epoxy Resin Factory of Yueyang Petrochemical Factory) is one of the domestically largest bases for researching, producing and selling epoxy resin . It is also the only large-scale chemical enterprise in the country, gathering the production of caustic soda, chlorine products and epoxy resin. It enjoys a convenient transportation for it is close to 107 national highway, Jingzhu speedway and Jingguang railway. Besides, it has its own storage wharf and special platform in the railway station.

Established in 1969, our enterprise has over 1,400 staff, including 366 engineering technicians(18 have senior professional titles, 100 have medium professional titles). It owns a fixed assets of over RMB 1 billion. It has 6 sets production equipment for epoxy resin, 2 for ion film caustic soda, 1 for septum caustic soda, 2 for epichlorohydrin and 1 for propylene oxide. The enterprise owns powerful capacities for epoxy resin in production and technical development, from small-scale, pilot-scale test to direct amplification test. It has successively developed SF6 epoxy resin for high tension switch, A80 bromination epoxy resin, curing agents and thinners etc..
Main products of the enterprise include CYD series epoxy resin, type E series epoxy resin, special epoxy resin and its supporting materials, 3-chloropropene, epichlorohydrin, caustic soda, liquid chlorine and hydrochloric acid etc..

The enterprise owns complete quality control system, advanced control method and first-grade test equipment. In October of 1998, it received ISO9002 quality control system certification and in October of 2003 it received ISO9000 quality control system (2000 version)auditing for changing license. Six kinds of products have been awarded provincially excellent products. 4 kinds of products have been awarded products with famous brand in Hunan province. In 1998 epoxy resin was awarded "reliable product" in quality.

By the end of 2001, RMB 0.685 was invested on the project of epoxy organochlorine and the project was put into production. The enterprise participates in the competition with brand-new image.
