Epichlorohydrin products
Epichlorohydrin (ECH) at normal temperature and pressure, is colorless, transparent, flammable, explosive oily liquid. Its steam has strong excitability to eyes, nose and throat. Its maximum acceptable concentration in the air is 1mg/m3 (5ppm) .
Epichlorohydrin is insoluble in water, soluble in many organic solvents such as aether, alcohols, carbon tetrachloride, acetone,benzene. It can also dissolve cellulose acetate, abietic resin. Can be dissolved with chlorinated rubber, polyvinyl chloride resin etc..
Epichlorohydrin is a kind of organic synthesis materials with wide range of application. Mainly used in the intermediates of synthetic resin, glycerin and organic synthesis of medicine and dyes . Used as solvent, plasticizer, stabilizer, chloro hydrin rubber and surface active agent etc..
